Software
Software applications are classified as:
- Free in which the application is available at no cost.
- Free and open source (FOSS) in which the application is both available at no cost and, among other things, that the source code is available. See The Open Source Definition from the Open Source Initiative (OSI) for more information.
- Developed by FADGI in which FADGI or FADGI-sponsored contractors provide all the development and maintenance work for the application.
- Partially Sponsored by FADGI in which FADGI provides support for specific areas of interest related to FADGI guidelines or workflows in existing applications. These are not "FADGI tools" but rather examples of FADGI contributions to other software projects.
Please reach out to FADGI at [email protected] with any questions.
