GUIDELINES

  • Digitization Activities - Project Planning - Approved
The aim of this document is to define activities relating to the digitization of original cultural materials, and to outline general steps for planning and management of this process.
  • Proposed Guideline for Embedding Metadata in Broadcast WAVE Files- Approved

This guideline on Broadcast WAVE Metadata represents a minimal set of recommended embedded metadata for digitally reformatted audio, and it is presented as an interim guideline. In addition to the guideline itself, two accompanying explanatory documents are offered on the page linked above. In the future, the Working Group will develop an extended guideline encompassing a richer metadata set in a more flexible format.
